Jane Doyle is a highly respected South Australian journalist, broadcaster, and media professional with a career spanning more than four decades. She has presented news on Seven News and ABC TV, hosted programs on ABC Radio, and was a member of Adelaide’s number one breakfast radio team on 1395 5AA.

Jane began her media career in 1980, leaving a teaching role to take up a newspaper cadetship in Far North Queensland. She quickly moved into radio and television, serving as TV Week’s Adelaide Bureau Chief, chief morning newsreader for ABC Radio, and later as a full-time television news presenter for ABC TV and Seven News. Jane’s work has earned her numerous Clear Speech Awards for Best Television News Reader and the 2009 Australian Commercial Radio Award for Best AM Newsreader.

Beyond journalism, Jane is a sought-after MC, keynote speaker, facilitator, and interviewer for corporate, community, and charitable events. She is also deeply engaged in philanthropic and cultural leadership, serving as Chair of Carclew, Patron of Flinders Foundation, Ambassador for Impact 100 SA, and has held roles with Surf Life Saving SA, Adelaide Girls Choir, and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons’ ASERNIP-S Management Committee.
