Quick Contact

Jack Beaumont is the pseudonym of a former operative of the French foreign intelligence service, the DGSE.

After studying mathematics and physics engineering, Jack began his military career in the French Air Force as a fighter pilot, flying single-seat aircraft specialised in air-to-air combat. Following a serious flying accident that ended his fighter career, he was retrained to conduct special operations and intelligence missions in various conflict and war zones.

While participating in an operation in the Balkans, Jack was identified and recruited by the DGSE. He subsequently underwent the service’s internal selection and operational training before spending seven years leading clandestine and offensive operations under false identities across multiple countries.

Following his intelligence career, Jack moved into the defence and aerospace industry, holding senior executive and advisory roles internationally. He is now also the internationally bestselling author of The Frenchman series, acclaimed for its realism and insider perspective on espionage, covert operations and geopolitical conflict.
