The first part of his working life was spent in broadcasting with BBC, PBS (USA), NZBC and SABC as well as with Australian ABC and Channel 7. Huw Evans enjoyed a long and successful association with the ABC as compere of the current affairs show PM and television programs such as Mastermind.
For a number of years Huw Evans was guest lecturer in media studies with the Australian College of Defence and Strategic Studies in Canberra and undertook an extensive training program for the NSW Police Service over two and a half years. He brings a mature and sophisticated approach to his work and is comfortable with serious, in-depth and sensitive projects.
During the 80’s Huw Evans consulted extensively on media policy to Australian arts, film and media organisations. He is a former Chair of the Federal Government’s Alcohol Policy Advisory Council.
Huw is a thorough professional. Not only did he do his homework after our brief, but he continually refined the hypothetical until it was honed to a fine edge. Huw also took the time to become involved with our people. He certainly left a lasting impression. Fantastic!
