Dr Gabrielle Morrissey Hansen is a globally recognised expert in sex and relationships, with over three decades of experience helping individuals and couples achieve love, intimacy, respect, and sexual fulfilment.
A leader in sexology, she has trained sex therapists and relationship counsellors internationally, authored three bestselling books on sexual health, hosted the nationally syndicated Australian radio show The Naked Truth, and written advice columns for over two decades. She has appeared regularly on television in Australia, the US, and the UK, and as an Associate Professor has taught sexual health at seven universities across Australia and the US, including Curtin University, Bond University, The University of Queensland, Baylor College of Medicine, and the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr Gabrielle earned her Doctorate in Sexology (2002) and a Master’s in Human Sexuality Education (1995) and has served on multiple international boards in sexual medicine, sex therapy, and respectful relationships education, including as past President of the Australian Society of Sex Educators, Researchers and Therapists.
Her expertise spans relationship dynamics, sexual function, pleasure, communication, coercive control, and healthy divorce. She currently writes The Divorce Diaries for Mamamia, hosts the podcast The Divorced Sexologist, and delivers seminars and webinars globally for couples, community groups, and corporate audiences.
A Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum and mentor with the Women’s Resilience Centre, Dr Gabrielle is dedicated to helping people create healthy, respectful, and fulfilling relationships, believing that sexual satisfaction and mutual respect are everyone’s right.
