Ed Phillips has been a beloved presence on Australian television and radio for over two decades. Known for his quick wit, engaging personality, and warm rapport, Ed became a household name as host of Channel Nine’s quiz show Temptation, joining the esteemed ranks of Tony Barber and Glenn Ridge.

Ed began his career as a DJ with Triple M in 1988 before moving into television, hosting Channel Ten’s Pot of Gold and later serving as a sports reporter on National Nine News. He co-hosted the TTFM (later Mix FM) afternoon show with Livinia Nixon, fronted Battle of the Sexes, and contributed to Good Morning Australia with live crosses, travel packages, and entertainment segments. He also appeared on Foxtel’s Weather Channel.

From 2005, Ed hosted Temptation for four years, appearing on screens five nights a week, delighting audiences with his charm and ability to put contestants at ease. Today, he hosts the More Music Breakfast Show on Sydney’s Smoothfm 95.3.
