Duncan Armstrong is an Olympic gold medalist, record-breaking swimmer, and one of Australia’s most celebrated athletes. He rose to fame at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, winning gold in the 200m freestyle and breaking the world record, earning Australia’s 100th Olympic medal. Coached by the legendary Laurie Lawrence, Duncan enjoyed a decorated 10-year career representing Australia in the pool.
Since retiring from competitive swimming, Duncan has received numerous honours, including the Order of Australia Medal and Young Australian of the Year. Beyond his sporting achievements, he is a committed Christian, father of five, corporate professional at Telstra, media contributor, and corporate coach, as well as an active supporter of charitable initiatives.
