Dr Lisa Chimes is a respected veterinarian, television personality, and passionate advocate for animal welfare. Since 2008, she has been a key member of Sydney’s Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH), specialising in emergency and critical care. Dr Lisa helped establish SASH’s canine blood bank and maintains a focus on trauma, envenomations, and toxicological emergencies.

Her television career began in 2009 with Bondi Vet, documenting life in SASH’s 24-hour emergency unit. In 2015, she launched Dr. Lisa To The Rescue, highlighting her dedication to rescue dogs and animal welfare organizations. She regularly appears on shows including The Project, Studio 10, Today Extra, and others, sharing her expertise with a broad audience.

Dr Lisa is also the founder and CEO of DOG by Dr Lisa and CAT by Dr Lisa, a brand ambassador for pet care products, and an ambassador for RSPCA NSW and Vets for Climate Action. She combines her veterinary expertise, media presence, and advocacy to inspire better care for animals and educate the public about responsible pet ownership.

In her personal life, Dr Lisa is a mother of four and shares her home with two rescue dogs and a Devon Rex cat.
