In 2008, he premiered his one-man show Sporobolous Virginicus at the Woodford Folk Festival. He has entertained stadium audiences at Sydney’s Olympic Stadium during the State of Origin, proudly wearing his Queensland jersey.
Beyond comedy, Desh is a highly qualified professional with degrees in Science, Business Management, and Land Use Planning. He remains an accredited corporate member of the Planning Institute of Australia, has advised governments on policy, and continues to provide guidance to cities on climate preparedness and sustainability. His corporate clients include South African Airways, Blake Dawson, the Wilderness Society, the Planning Institute of Australia, the National Rugby League, and the Newcastle Knights.
Desh’s career bridges humour and insight, combining razor-sharp comedy with expertise in sustainable development. With a wealth of life experience, a sharp wit, and a larger-than-life personality, Desh is a performer and speaker who informs, inspires, and entertains.
