David Reyne is an accomplished television presenter, Logie-winning actor, travel writer, musician, and a highly engaging Master of Ceremonies. With decades of experience in television, live events, and travel journalism, he is a consummate storyteller and raconteur, able to captivate audiences with humour, insight, and worldly perspective.
For over 20 years, David presented and produced Getaway, Australia’s longest-running and most successful travel program. In that time, he travelled more than three million kilometres, visited 60 countries, and stayed in over 2,000 hotels, earning a reputation as one of Australia’s most incisive and entertaining travel reporters. From 2006 to 2009, he co-hosted 9am with David & Kim on Network Ten and was a regular travel contributor for Fairfax Newspapers, including his column Reyne’s World in The Herald Sun.
As an actor, David won a Logie for his role in the ABC series Sweet and Sour and has appeared in film, theatre, and television. Musically, he was the drummer for the multi-platinum selling Chantoozies, performing over 750 shows, and the original drummer with Australian Crawl, gaining unique insight into audience behaviour and the dynamics of live performance.
