David has represented Australia 38 times, captaining the national team 26 times, and is internationally renowned for breaking multiple world records, including shattering three American records in 2000. He has been named Australian Axeman of the Year a record nine consecutive times and was awarded Axeman of the Decade in 1990. A true family champion, David combined forces with his late father and later his brother to dominate multiple world championships, and his son Stephen continues the family legacy today.
