Craig Reucassel is an Australian writer, comedian, and broadcaster, best known for his work with The Chaser, presenting Breakfast on ABC Radio Sydney, and his investigative reporting on The War on Waste. With a fast-paced wit and sharp intellect, Craig is a highly engaging facilitator, MC, and host.
Craig co-founded The Chaser newspaper, which led to a string of acclaimed ABC TV programs, including The Election Chaser, CNNNN, The Chaser’s War on Everything, The Hamster Wheel, and the satirical consumer affairs series The Checkout. He also hosted the influential two-series run of The War on Waste.
Born in South Africa and raised in Australia, Craig graduated from the University of Sydney with honours in a Bachelor of Economics (Social Science) and Bachelor of Laws. Beyond television and radio, he has performed on stage in David Williamson’s Jack of Hearts and Tim Firth’s Neville’s Island at The Ensemble Theatre and has worked across Triple J and commercial radio.
