Craig began his media career as a co-founder of The Chaser newspaper, the satirical publication that grew into one of Australia’s most celebrated comedy and political commentary groups. This early success paved the way for a string of acclaimed ABC television programs including The Election Chaser, CNNNN, The Chaser’s War on Everything, The Hamster Wheel, and the award-winning consumer affairs satire The Checkout. His work across these series showcased Craig’s trademark combination of fearless humour, incisive critique and original storytelling.
In 2017, Craig took on a new challenge as the host and lead reporter of the ABC’s War on Waste, a landmark two-series investigation into Australia’s waste crisis. The program not only drew huge national audiences but also shifted public attitudes, influenced policy discussions, and mobilised households, businesses and schools to take action.
