Chloe Esposito is one of Australia’s most extraordinary athletes, having won Gold in Modern Pentathlon at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games—the most demanding sport in the Olympic program. Her journey to the top was built on determination and resilience, beginning at just 15 when she narrowly missed qualifying for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Over more than a decade, Chloe has competed at two Olympic Games, set an Olympic record, and consistently ranked among the world’s best pentathletes. She first made her mark on the international stage in 2011, winning the Swiss Open International at just 20, qualifying for London 2012, and finishing Australia’s best-ever female result in Modern Pentathlon at the Games.
In Rio 2016, Chloe’s grit and precision saw her rise from seventh after three disciplines to claim Olympic Gold, cementing her legacy as a trailblazer in Australian sport. In 2018, she became the first Australian to win a Modern Pentathlon World Cup event, continuing her quest for excellence.
