Cameron Daddo is a multi-award-winning, internationally recognised entertainer whose three-decade career spans stage, screen, radio, music, and storytelling. One of Australia’s most versatile performers, he has acted, presented, produced and directed across film, television, theatre and broadcast media, earning a reputation for depth, creativity and enduring audience appeal.
Cameron began his career at just 18, starting out as a model before moving quickly into television as the host of the popular children’s programs The Dish and The Cameron Daddo Show. He soon stepped into prime time as the host of Perfect Match, becoming a familiar and trusted face for Australian audiences. His early theatre work included standout roles such as the lead in Big River and the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz.
After marrying model Alison Brahe, Cameron relocated to Los Angeles in 1992, where he embarked on a successful international acting career. He appeared in top-rating series including CSI, NCIS, The Mentalist, and portrayed the Vice President in 24. He went on to play the President in the hit action-drama Nikita, cementing his status as a respected talent in US television.
Moving fluidly between the US and Australia, Cameron has continued to take on celebrated stage and screen roles at home. His Australian theatre credits include Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, the Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show, and roles in Legally Blonde. On television, he delivered acclaimed performances in Beaconsfield and starred as series regular Adam Goodman in the much-loved Packed to the Rafters.
A true multi-hyphenate, Cameron is also a published singer/songwriter and an accomplished columnist. His creativity extends behind the camera as a producer and director of film, television and musical theatre projects.
In addition to his artistic achievements, Cameron is a sought-after MC and host for corporate, government and community events. Known for his professionalism, warmth and natural charisma, he brings a sense of ease, humour and gravitas to every stage.
Cameron currently broadcasts seven nights a week on his number-one-rating national radio show on Smooth FM, where his signature storytelling and connection with listeners continue to make him one of Australia’s most recognisable and enduring voices.
