Caitlin Iles is a highly respected venture capitalist, angel investor, entrepreneur, and business advisor, renowned for disrupting industries and championing women in business. Caitlin began her career in psychology, working to rehabilitate drug-dependent individuals, before moving into advertising, advisory, and enterprise sectors. She has established businesses across Australia, Europe, and the Middle East, and delivered transformative projects for global companies, including Staples. Caitlin helped raise close to $100 million and build what is now Australia’s largest and most active venture capital portfolio at Artesian Venture Partners.
She is also a key member of Capital xx, a sister fund investing in up to 500 female-founded, early-stage, globally scalable businesses across Australia, Asia, and the USA. Caitlin’s work aims to address the global funding gap for female founders, enabling investors to capitalise on the consistently higher returns women deliver in venture capital portfolios.
