Producer, Writer & Performer

Brian NankervisĀ is the acclaimed producer, writer, performer and co-host of the A.F.I Award winning SBS music trivia show, RocK Trivia alongside Julia Zemiro.

He is also the talented producer behind a long list of shows that include Boys and Balls for the ABC and Class Clowns. A strong writer, he penned and performed in Channel 10’s hospital soap opera Let The Blood Run Free and regularly appeared on Hey, Hey, It’s Saturday as the tortured street poet Raymond J Bartholomeuz.

Brian Nankervis is a brilliant MC and host for corporate, public and private events.

A lifelong music fan, he also hosts an amazing interactive RocKwiz-inspired music quiz.

Brian Nankervis taught primary school children at Wesley College, Glen Waverley and Kingswood College, Box Hill, for six years before fleeing the classroom in 1985 to become a waiter at Melbourne’s legendary theatre restaurant The Last Laugh. He later built his career in performance.

Theatre credits include writing and performing in Let The Blood Run Free at various theatres and festivals. He performed in Storming St Kilda By Tram, On Shifting Sandshoes and Full House, No Vacancies for Theatreworks, Over In The West with Michael Thomas and It’s A Dad Thing at The Athenaeum Theatre. Brian has written, performed and produced the one man shows, From The Cradle To The Grave and Open Road for the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. From The Cradle To The Grave was performed on ABC television as part of the Smallest Room In The House series.

Brian Nankervis co-produced and wrote Boys and Balls for the ABC and was a producer for Class Clowns, an annual Comedy Festival project. He has done studio warm ups for a variety of television shows, including Thank God You’re Here, contributes regularly to The Age, hosted the hit TV show Pictures Of You and is an experienced MC and performer for a wide variety of public events and corporate functions.

A multi-talented performing artist, for 15 years Brian performed a one-hour poetry show in primary and secondary schools.
