For over 30 years, from television to the big screen, musical theatre to opera to cabaret, there are few entertainment mediums that Rhonda Burchmore, Australia’s leading theatre and cabaret artist, has not embraced with her wide-ranging talents.

Big, bold and colourful, Rhonda also excels on the corporate stage, not only as a performer who entertains audiences with a piano, with dancers, or solo in a one-woman show but also as a superb MC who knows exactly how to charm an audience and hold their attention.

Throughout her career Rhonda has made a distinctive impression on audiences with her dazzling dance steps, superb comic timing, effervescent personality, her super-model looks and not least of all, her stunning voice.

In a career full of highlights, some of the most memorable include performing on London’s West End in a number of musicals including Sugar Babies featuring Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller, Stop The World I Want To Get Off with Anthony Newley and starring opposite David Atkins in the original Hot Shoe Shuffle. Rhonda also performed a series of gala events at the Paralympics in Athens in 2004 at the special invitation of the Australian Paralympic Committee and the Australian Sports Commission.

Rhonda also had lead roles in Annie Get Your Gun, Easter Parade, They’re Playing Our Song, Mame, The Boy Friend, Song & Dance, Guys & Dolls, Respect- A Musical Journey of Women, Little Orphan Trashley, Eurobeat, Calendar Girls, Into The Woods, Urinetown, Tom Foolery, La Cage Aux Folles, Jerry’s Girls, The Drowsy Chaperone co-starring Geoffrey Rush and as Tanya in the original Australian production of Mama Mia!

Rhonda has recorded several albums including Rhonda Burchmore, Midnight Rendezvous, Live At The Melbourne Concert Hall and Cry Me A River – The World of Julie London. In 2011 she released her autobiography, Legs 11.

In 2002 and 2012 Rhonda won Female Vocal Performer of The Year at the MO Awards and ACE Awards and in 2014, she won the Cabaret Icon Award at the International Adelaide Cabaret Festival.

Also in 2014, Rhonda was awarded the OAM for her service to the performing arts and community.

In 2015, Rhonda starred as the Witch in Harvest Rain’s production of Into The Woods, later featuring in the Production Company’s Jerry’s Girls.

After a long and successful career in the entertainment industry Rhonda Burchmore still remains one of Australia’s most popular corporate entertainers with her sensational talent and engaging personality.
