Ben Davis

Radio host, former sports presenter, MC

Ben Davis is an award-winning sports reporter, commentator and presenter who has travelled the world covering sports, news and current affairs for radio and television.

He has engaged and informed audiences by interviewing Prime Ministers and Premiers, world champions, national sporting captains, and news makers.

Ben is also an accomplished MC and host who is frequently in demand for sporting and corporate events. He has been the main host for clients including the Brisbane Lions Chairman's Circles, the Australian Rugby Union, Fosters (C.U.B) and Hyundai Motor Company.

Ben Davis was a sport reporter and presenter at Channel 7, for over two decades, covering some of Queensland and Australia's biggest sporting events including NRL Grand Finals, 2005 Ashes Series, Wallabies European Tours, and Rugby League World Cups. In 1997 and again in 1999, Ben won Best Television Report in the National Soccer League's national Media Awards for his reports on the Brisbane Strikers.

From 2014, Ben hosted 4BC's B Talkback Drive Brisbane Live show, informing, engaging, and entertaining South East Queensland with the news of the day and what mattered in their lives.

In a national capacity, he has been a sports presenter on both Sunrise and Weekend Sunrise, plus a weekly contributor on their Hot Topics segment.

In late 2018, Ben returned to Channel 7 in Brisbane, reigniting his role in the sport department.
