Building Expert and Presenter
In 2002 Luke Van Dyck burst onto national TV screens with a role on the Nine Network's high rating DIY Rescue program and, from there, went on to appear on Nine's Renovation Rescue, Renovate or Detonate and Renovation Rumble.
A licensed builder, and third-generation builder (having followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather), Luke also owns LVD Industries Pty Ltd, a building company that works with top architects building and renovating high-end custom homes for a clientele that includes many well-known celebrities. In 2009 his company was recognised as executing the best renovation in NSW by the industry body.
In 2004, Luke Van Dyke was nominated in the category of "Best New Talent" at the Australian Logies and his television career has since gone from strength to strength. Currently he has appears in the ongoing lifestyle program Australian Renovation on Foxtel's How To Channel. He also appeared on the Nine Network series entitled Do It and, also on Nine, a specialised tradesman challenge, Jack Of All Trades.
As a result of his ever-increasing public profile, Luke Van Dyke is regularly asked to make guest appearances at trade shows and celebrity events. He regularly gives live presentations at the national HIA Home Shows and is considered a specialist in the use of new and energy-efficient building materials in the construction industry. For instance, he was the Ambassador for James Hardie Industries new "Scyon" product range and makes regular guest appearances on national television to discuss the benefits of these products.
Highly professional and punctual with a very easy and affable personality, Luke is also taking on MC and ambassador roles.
Luke manages to fit in all these roles with his own business interests and is currently working on a book.
