Steph Prem is a former winter Olympian and leading expert on women's health and fitness.
The resident ‘fitness expert" for Australian leading brand Priceline Pharmacy, Steph is also an Expert Pilates panellist and contributor for Women's Fitness magazine, Fitness columnist for the Melbourne Weekly Review, a regular healthy contributor for Bride to Be Magazine and numerous online health platforms.
With her charismatic personality, expert knowledge and experience as a contributor, panellist and sports commentator for Channel 10, Steph Prem is the ideal presenter, panellist, corporate fitness and motivational speaker.
Steph Prem is a five-time Australian Champion, and was the only female to represent Australia in snowboardcross at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. However, her career took a turn when after the Games, Steph suffered a horrific accident. As a consequence, Steph exited professional sports and jumped wholeheartedly into an enduring health and wellness journey.
Steph founded Premium Performance (the popular healthy lifestyle blog) and opened Melbourne's luxurious health and fitness destination, ;Studio PP', (an embodiment of everything Premium Performance). In 2014, her first studio was ranked among Melbourne's top five pilates studios by Urban List having been opened for less than six months. Steph's credibility secured her role as an expert commentator and panellist for Channel 10's coverage of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games. Her depth of knowledge, athletic history, passion and love of snow sports made her a unique addition to Channel 10 and One HD's commentary team.
Other highlights of Steph Prem's career include; Cotton On Body health and wellbeing ambassador, expert contributor/blogger for Cosmopolitan, The Glow, Women's Fitness, Rescu, Popsugar and Medibank BE. Steph Prem is also a familiar face on screen. Virgin Airlines featured a Billabong-produced reality documentary series following Steph's Olympic journey, she has appeared on MTV, and presented for Channel 7 as the Victorian Snow Reporter (2007-2009), Channel 10's The Circle Winter Segments (2012) and Channel One and ch31- Going Ballystyx Snowboard Show Presenter (2007-2009).
Prior to her Olympic debut, Steph studied musical theatre at the Victorian College of the Arts and studied a Bachelor of Drama and Dance at Deakin University. She also worked as a dance teacher/choreographer for five years at Cheril Rowston School of Dance.
