Fashion designer, adventurer, mentor, keynote speaker
Sally Browne's inspiring achievements cover a very broad spectrum. Everything from building a multi-million dollar fashion empire from virtually nothing, to winning a myriad of awards for excellence in design and outstanding business leadership. She even worked in Finland with Polar, developing the first heart rate stress monitor.
Typical of her philosophy of living life to the full, in the late 90s Sally went for ‘a bit of a stroll' in the Everest Region to overcome her fear of heights. Her motto of ‘take risks, take care, have fun' is certainly reflected in her life's experiences which, so far, include taking to the stage as a washboard player with a jazz band, becoming a keynote speaker, living with a Masai tribe and doing the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage.
Sally's amazing experiences in life, in business and in challenging adventures are inspiration for her brilliant presentations which focus on ‘Living and Working to your Full Potential in an era of Challenge and Change'. She confronts fear of failure, self-doubt and limiting self-talk to inspire us to jump into a bigger, brighter, better, more positive and productive life.
Sally is an energetic, enthusiastic and entertaining speaker. Her keynote addresses are filled with earthy humour, personal experiences, pertinent anecdotes and different perspectives. Her enthusiastic audiences have included women in business, business leaders, educators, community, retail, local business people and corporate conference attendees.
Sally is committed to encouraging and mentoring the next wave of business leaders. She personally mentors a number of young business people and she was the founder of the Business World Young Heroes Awards. She is also involved with ‘Community Capitalism': converting corner milk bars into hip organic cafés and unused buildings into creative spaces for young people.
Sally is also the co-founder of Women in High Heels, a group of high profile businesswomen with a social conscience, and is closely involved with Girls Without Mummies, a special group of young women whose mothers have died.
Sally is an Ambassador for Museum Victoria and an Australia Day Ambassador and is involved in fundraising for many charities.
Her experiences of embracing and celebrating challenge, her grip on the unpredictable world we live in, her belief in developing resilience (the capacity to bounce back) and her strategies to be a victor of change, not a victim of change, make her a thrilling and inspiring speaker. She has empowered, entertained and encouraged women in business, business leaders, educators, community groups, retailers, local business people and attendees of corporate conferences to live and work to their full potential.
Indefatigable, inspiring and always curious, Sally Browne has motivated thousands to review, re-evaluate and reinvigorate their business and personal lives and to live life to the full.
Superb speaker who engaged the audience in the hard to fill spot straight after lunch. A lovely lady who was very easy to work with
