Ray Scicluna revolutionised the video rental industry by establishing the largest movie wholesale supermarket in Australia. By age 27, he had turned over more than 90 million dollars. Declared bankrupt at 29, he went on undeterred to establish  the Video Ezy franchise throughout Australia and New Zealand. Ray Scicluna's message is simple: all things are possible.

About Ray Scicluna:

Ray Scicluna grew up in the rough and tumble world of Melbourne's Western Suburbs. When he left school at 13, he was unable to read or write.

But by age 21, Ray Scicluna had turned himself around. Over the next six years, he revolutionised the video rental industry and opened the largest movie wholesale supermarket in Australia. By age 27, he had turned over more than 90 million dollars.

But the wild ride was just starting for Ray. He lost it all when he was declared bankrupt at 29. Undeterred, he moved on, starting the franchise Video Ezy for most of Australia and New Zealand. In a career of self employment spanning more then 30 years, Ray has set up more than 60 different retail outlets. The businesses he manages and part owns today range from manufacturing innovations, to event management. He now exports many of his products to Canada, the US, the UK and New Zealand, and imports from China.

In his time, Ray has trained more than 4,000 people in retail, customer service and managing and building a better business. He has managed events in NZ, Bali, Fiji and throughout Australia. Having seen it all, Ray knows better than anyone what is involved in creating a business from scratch and realising your dreams.

Ray speaks from the heart, he embodies a down-to-earth CAN DO attitude and offers the sincerity of a street kid made good.
