Rebecca Maddern is the much loved news anchor of Seven Network. A self confessed news junkie, she enjoys nothing more than to read up on current affairs - except to report them.
Rebecca's passion for current affairs and experience in front of the camera ensure she is a relaxed, professional and highly engaging corporate MC. Indeed, her broad general knowledge, diverse experience and personal charm have secured her success in front of audiences around Australia.
Significantly, she has co-hosted the Melbourne Cup Carnival Myer Fashions on the Field event at Flemington with Carson Kressley.

Rebecca graduated from RMIT in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies. She launched her media career with a role as a sports presenter for Triple M radio before securing a broadcasting role at Fox FM.
Rebecca Maddern then moved to Nova 100's news team, before landing her first role in television news at Seven.
Within a few months, fires broke out in Victoria and Rebecca was thrown in the deep end as a reporter. She made an immediate impact on camera, winning a prestigious Quill Award in 2003 for her coverage of the bushfires in her first year of television reporting.
In 2005, Rebecca Maddern was appointed to present the 4.30pm News on Network Seven in Sydney and Victoria. Later she was also appointed to present on Sunrise and The Morning News as well as filling the role of Melbourne's alternate weekend bulletin presenter.
Rebecca is an avid Geelong Football Club fan and a patron of a local Geelong charity United Way. She is involved in the Very Special Kids charity and Seven's City of Melbourne campaign.
