Mikey Robins

Quick-witted MC, facilitator and stand-up comedian

Mikey Robins is one of Australia's best loved, most intelligent, most hilarious entertainers. His high profile career in radio and TV has made him one of the most recognisable faces and voices in Australian entertainment history.

With an incredibly quick wit and years of experience in the public eye, Mikey is the perfect MC for corporate events and is also great at comic spots.

Mikey's foray into stand-up comedy in 2010 was hugely successful and since then he has performed at all the major comedy venues in Australia as the headline act and starred at the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals. Little wonder he was chosen as one of the featured acts on a tour of Australian troops posted in the Middle East.

Mikey is also a great asset as a conference or panel facilitator, as a keynote speaker, or as a debate moderator or team member. His versatility has been recognised by clients as diverse as Museum of Australian Democracy, NIB, Taxation Institute of Australia and Thrifty Car Rental.

Mikey Robins has hosted numerous radio programs including breakfast on Sydney's Vega FM and the Triple M Drive shift in both Sydney and Melbourne. He also hosted Triple M's Breakfast Show in Sydney and spent seven amazingly successful years as the Host of Triple J's National Breakfast Show.

Mikey's early TV career included Live & Sweaty and McFeast, before he moved on to the legendary Good News Week which broadcast on both ABC TV and Network Ten. He also devised and hosted a series of humorous documentaries for Network Ten on Australians and their favourite pubs which led to shows filmed in Ireland and Las Vegas. Mikey hosted Foxtel's Campaign in 2001 and was a regular guest on ABC TV's The Fat and 110% Tony Squires on the Seven Network. He also fronted Foxtel's Movie Network's Hollywood Head 2 Head promotion and appeared on The Jesters, You Have Been Watching and The League Lounge, also for Foxtel.

Mikey has co-authored two books: Three Beers and a Chinese Meal with Helen Razor and Big Man's World with Tony Squires and Steve Abbott AKA The Sandman. He has been a columnist for the Daily Telegraph and GQ and has written for several publications including Men's Style.

Mikey Robins is a brilliant live performer in any capacity and sure to capture the attention of any audience.
