Melanie Symons is a highly popular and well-known Television Presenter. Her roles within the television industry have included host and segment producer of Saturday Disney, presenter of popular prime time lifestyle program Ground Force and fashion editor on Sunrise. Melanie Symons currently reports for Sydney Weekender.

About Melanie Symons:

Melanie Symons has graced Australia's screens since the age of 15. She began her television career as a presenter on a local children's program, simultaneously learning the ropes behind the scenes, working as a tape operator, production coordinator and publicist.

It was then Melanie began her national career as presenter and segment producer of the children's program Totally Wild. Melanie has co-hosted Wheel of Fortune, reported for sport on the Melbourne Cup and Spring Racing carnival, hosted Xtreme Games from Thailand and presented lifestyle series including Australia's Best Backyards and Whit's Walkabout where she was featured diving with sharks. Melanie has appeared on Home and Away and guest appeared on many tonight shows, game shows, children's programs, lifestyle specials and telethons. During her long association with the Seven Network, this celebrated all rounder has traveled the world presenting.

In addition to television presenting, Melanie is a highly accomplished Compere and Master of Ceremonies. She is sought after Australia wide for awards nights, corporate functions, and prestigious fashion and sporting events. Her appearances have included David Jones fashion launches, Wallabies Test Matches around Australia and the Australian Jockey Club's Fashions on the Field, an event she has largely become the face of, having been involved for the last five consecutive years.
