Tony Squires is one of Australia's most popular media personalities and a successful corporate entertainer, speaker, MC and quiz master.

Tony's media experience, which includes hosting major live television shows and extensive radio broadcasting, has provided him with a broad range of media skills and experience while providing clients with a range of unique and entertaining options.

In any of his corporate roles, Tony is funny, calm, well prepared and very professional.

Tony's impressive list of media roles includes presenting sport on Channel Seven's 6pm News Bulletin with Chris Bath and hosting The Friday Football Panel, a weekly sports show with league legend Andrew Johns and The Ruck, a weekly rugby union show, both on Triple M. He previously co-hosted Vega 95.3's Sydney breakfast radio show with friends Rebecca Wilson and Mikey Robins.

About Tony Squires:

Originally from Newcastle, Tony has worked on stage, music, radio and television with a number of his Novocastrian mates, including Mikey Robins, Steve 'the Sandman' Abbott and John Doyle, aka 'Roy Slaven'.

After failing his acting audition for NIDA, Tony vowed to destroy the careers of all actors. This attitude landed him a regular spot judging short films in the ABC's popular Race Around The World.  From there, he created Inside the Arena for Foxtel, a live-to-air television show talking about television, moving on to host the much-loved ABC sports panel show The Fat. It was a huge hit before the Seven Network swooped and The Fat became 110% Tony Squires. This move also gave Tony the opportunity to host Seven's Athens Olympic coverage and the One Day Cricket series in England with Stuart MacGill and Kerry O'Keeffe. He has also hosted major events for the network such as the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

Tony has been a journalist for more than 25 years, with much of that time spent at the Sydney Morning Herald as a feature writer, columnist and section editor. He edited The Guide for a number of years, as well as being deputy editor of the sports section. He wrote a popular weekly television column and, in 2008, had a year-long pop culture column in the Sunday Telegraph.  Tony now writes regularly for major newspapers and magazines.

In 2009, Tony published his second book Cracking the Footy Codes which, just a tad tongue in cheek, demystifies and explains footy: AFL rugby league, rugby union and football.
