Stand-up comedian & breakfast radio host
Anthony 'Lehmo' Lehmann is one of Australia's best, most experienced, most well-travelled and busiest stand-up comedians.
Lehmo's live work has seen him headline at comedy clubs for more than a decade and work all over the world including the US, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Thailand.
Lehmo has also become Australia's number one 'combat comic', having completed four 'tours of duty' performing for Australian troops abroad in army bases in East Timor, Iraq, Kuwait, UAE, Afghanistan as well as two secret countries he's not allowed to name.
Lehmo actually started off his professional life as a chartered accountant, spending many years - too many! - crunching numbers until he finally found his niche in the world of entertainment.
A regular on the festival circuit, Lehmo has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (1996 and 1997), the Adelaide Fringe Festival (2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012) and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015). These shows have included the following:
Among his many other achievements, in 2005 he held the prestigious Guinness World Record for the most jokes told in one hour.
Lehmo also co-hosts Gold 104.3 FM's breakfast show in Melbourne, Brig & Lehmo for Breakfast, with Brigitte Duclos, is a panelist on the popular Network 10 AFL show Before the Game and a regular on news chat show The Project.
He has also had regular guest spots on The Fat, The Glasshouse and appeared on Good News Week, Hey Hey It's Saturday, Headliners, ROVE Live and even Neighbours. In the UK, Lehmo appeared on BBC TV's Comedy Showcase and was a regular compere on Britain's longest running television stand-up show, Stand up Live.
Lehmo has an extraordinary knack of making people laugh, that's why he's regarded as one of Australia's best stand-up comedians and an audience favourite.
Lehmo is a fantastic personality to work with and ensured that our dinner was a huge success, I would recommend him to any organisation looking to put some fun and enthusiasm into an evening.

Lehmo is to be congratulated for his preparation and delivery as it resulted in a super gig and we had lots of positive feedback from a potentially tough audience. At a charity golf day there was nothing below par in Lehmo's performance! We greatly appreciate his support for our Foundation and do not take this for granted. He will do us any day.

I have been meaning to email you all day to thank both you and Lehmo. I'm pretty sure it was the most successful event in the 2 years the Committee has been organising these functions in terms of numbers attending, and we received lots of positive feedback afterwards. I think all of us could relate to some of the things Lehmo dreaded about being a “professional”, which made the talk relevant as well as very funny.
