Rhoda Roberts is a significant force on the Australian arts scene. She is a sought-after film and stage actor and television and radio host. Rhoda has written, produced and directed some of Australia's most important public productions including the Festival of the Dreaming in the lead up to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Rhoda is Producer for Vibe Australia, Creative Director of Sydney New Year's Eve and Festival Director, Garma Festival, produced by the Yothu Yindi Foundation. She was a co-founding member of Australia's first national Aboriginal theatre company, the Aboriginal National Theatre Trust (ANTT).
Well known as a journalist and presenter for SBS television's current affairs program Vox Populi, Rhoda has also worked for Network Ten and ABC Radio as a producer and journalist.
Rhoda is a member of the Bundjalung nation, Widjabul clan of Northern NSW and South East QLD and a sought-after speaker.

Rhoda has been involved with a number of large events in varying roles including Creative Director, Awakening Segment Sydney Olympic Games Opening Ceremony; Rugby World Cup 2003, Athens handover ceremony; the opening ceremony of the Musee Du Quai Branly, Paris; Japan Expo; and World Youth Day events and Australia Day events where she developed the Woggan ma Gule annual ceremony to honor the day's acknowledging and paying homage to the ancestors and the Gadigal first peoples.
In 2010, Rhoda was the director /producer for the new Theatre work BodymARKS, produced for the Darwin Festival. She has also developed a series of Music Concerts titled BackYard Rocks and the BoomErang Festival to be staged in 2012. In 2009 she was commissioned to direct the Opera Miricoloa a Milanao by Giorgio Battistelli for the Brisbane Festival 2009.
Rhoda has written and produced several documentaries, and was the first Aboriginal to host a national prime time current affairs program. In 1998 as co-writer she performed the one woman show Please Explain. Her solo production Bible Boxing Love began its East Coast Tour in 2008.
Rhoda hosts and develops stories for the television health series Living Strong and works in Radio with the National Music program Deadly Sounds. She advised the SPC Secretariat Pacific Communities for the 12th Festival of Pacific Arts.
Rhoda featured in the film A Sister's Love, which was produced and directed by Ivan Sen and is also completing her first novel Tullymorgan.
