Jim Wilson is a renowned journalist, presenter and sports commentator. He is also a highly regarded master of ceremonies, key note speaker and consultant who provides strategic leadership, clear practical guidance and powerful key messages. His clients include iconic multinationals from diverse industries.

Jim grew up on Queensland's Gold Coast and started his career in media as a cadet at Brisbane's Courier Mail. He has now worked in the media for over two decades, initially as a business journalist in newspapers before moving across to sport. He has worked across all mediums including network television (Channel Nine and Seven), Pay TV (Fox Footy and Sky News), Radio (3AW) and Newspapers (Herald Sun).

During his career as a sports journalist, Jim has covered some of the most significant sporting events of recent times such as seven Olympic Games, the British Open golf, South African and West Indian cricket tours, World Cup soccer, the NRL State of Origin series and AFL Grand Finals. Jim Wilson has been contracted to News Ltd., Sky News Australia, Southern Cross Radio Broadcasting and the Seven Television Network.

An accomplished corporate speaker and Master of Ceremonies, Jim has been the preferred Master Of Ceremonies for Cricket Australia, the Melbourne Cricket Club (at the MCG), Ford Australia, Corporate Sports Australia, Tennis Australia, Hertz, British Airways and a host of other major organisations as well as being patron of the charity 'Very Special Kids'.

He is a passionate supporter of several charities such as the NELUNE Foundation and NSW Cancer Council, having lost his youngest son Sam to brain cancer in 2010, when Sam was just six.
