John is one of the most influential figures in the Australian property industry. He took the company from a lounge room start-up in 1988 to be one of Australia’s most successful integrated real estate service groups.
John was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in April 2022.
In 2008, he was honoured by the Real Estate Institute of NSW with the Woodrow Weight OBE Award, a lifetime achievement award for his outstanding contribution to the real estate industry.
John was a founding director of the REA Group and served on its board from 1999 to 2018 and Chairman from 2003 to 2007.
He has published several books and has become a spokesperson for the industry both in Australia and internationally.
John is a high-powered keynote speaker who draws on his experience as a business leader in the property sector to impart valuable strategies for peak performance and maximising success.
