The nature of success leadership workshop
From African game ranger and lion expert, to speaking around the world on lessons from the wild, Richard Field links the law of the jungle to the wild, unpredictable and sometimes predatory world of business.
A game ranger in Southern Africa and business consultant, Richard has a unique understanding of business and nature, and how the two can mirror and benefit each other.
A dynamic and inspiring speaker, Richard believes that teams, and especially business teams, can absorb and learn from the animal kingdom. Richard uses the analogy of African animals as metaphors for business team success.
Using dramatic wildlife imagery and gripping story-telling ability, Richard engages and thrills his audiences. Richard's presentations are full of sound business sense interlaced with humour. They cover key teamwork themes such as communication, goal setting and synergy. Audiences leave enthralled and repeat the stories to friends and colleagues resulting in immense take home business value from the wild.
Richard Field talks about:
Richard looks at four animals that characterise the African savannah; the Lion, Elephant, Leopard and Giraffe, shares his knowledge and stories relating to these animals and examines the key attributes that have allowed them to be a constant presence on the African plains for thousands of years. Each animal relates to the following key themes;
- Lion - Teamwork
- Elephant - Clear Communication
- Leopard - Innovation
- Giraffe - Vision and Awareness
The Nature of Success Leadership Workshop allows for group discussion on the key points raised in the program. Participants are seated at cabaret style tables, with a maximum of eight people per table. This allows an opportunity for everyone to communicate, as well as offering a variety of opinions and ideas at the table.
As the participants are asked to interpret the behaviour of the animals, a side benefit is that they become amateur safari guides by the time that the program is finished.
The program is also completely flexible. Any part of the program can be extended and emphasised. For example, if communication is a key element of the conference, the workshop can easily focus more time on that part of the presentation.
The workshop can run from anywhere between 90 minutes and three hours. It is also available as a 60 minute keynote presentation.
Included in 'The Nature of Success' is a unique self rating diagnostic and benchmarking process. This not only adds to the value of the presentation, but provides enormous benefits that will relate to both the work place and the home.
