About Shane Jacobson:
Shane Jacobson's comedic talents, which have garnered him so much praise in Kenny, were evident early on when he joined the Melbourne Gang Show Theatre Troupe at the age of 10.
By 18 he had entered the world of comedy with regular theatre restaurant, stand-up and MC gigs. Shane's focus eventually moved towards the camera and he began acting in music videos, short films and TV commercials. A multi-talented actor, Shane also wrote the screenplay for Kenny with his brother, film director Clayton Jacobson. For their efforts, they were awarded the 2006 IF Awards for both Best Feature Film and Best Script and the 2006 Film Critics Circle of Australia Award for Best Original Screenplay.
