About Fiona O'Loughlin:
Fiona is a superstar comedian based in Alice Springs who has five children and has, with her husband, been a foster parent to 30 more.
Fiona writes a motherhood column in Woman's Day, is a writer and presenter for ABC radio and in 2009 performed in the ninth series of Channel Seven's Dancing with the Stars. She was a finalist in the 2009 Northern Territory Australian of the Year awards.
Fiona O'Loughlin's trials and mishaps as a mother form the basis of her hugely successful stand-up career, which has led her to acclaimed appearances nationally and internationally including sold-out gigs at the Sydney Opera House, Melbourne and Edinburgh comedy festivals, as well as shows in Canada and the US. A relative newcomer to the comedy circuit, Fiona was nominated for a Barry Award in 2007. She was also nominated for Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2001.
Fiona's debut recording Grouch from the Couch, was recorded and released nationally by ABC Enterprises and has entertained thousands of passengers on Qantas In-flight Entertainment.
Fiona is also in very high demand as a corporate performer - her lovely manner and wealth of experience make her a fabulous performer to watch.
