A former advertising copywriter, Chrissie gained national fame as Australia's first female Big Brother runner-up in 2003, having impressed the nation with her intelligence, wit and integrity. Since then, not only has Chrissie has become a, extremely popular radio and TV broadcaster, author, columnist and fashion label ambassador, as well as a Gold Logie Nominee and Silver Logie winner, she is also one of Australia's most loved personalities.
In 2015, Chrissie is on radio as a regular guest on the Fifi & Dave breakfast show on Fox FM. Her previous radio experience includes co-hosting Chrissie & Jane for Breakfast on Melbourne's Mix 101.1 for three years, during which time it reached Number 1.
In January 2015, Chrissie joined nine other celebrities in South Africa for Network Ten's primetime reality TV show I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here and survived until the final day.
Chrissie appeared on television in Can of Worms for two seasons and was a presenter on The Circle in 2010 and 2011. She is regularly seen on The Project, HYBPA, A Current Affair and Weekend Today.
In 2013 Chrissie launched her own fashion range of affordable, plus-size women's apparel, intimates and footwear, which was available exclusively at BIG W.
Chrissie has also written for Fairfax's Sunday Life Magazine and Good Weekend Magazine and the Herald Sun Magazine. In 2013, Chrissie published her first book, Is it just me? Confessions of an Over-Sharer.
In 2011 Chrissie won the Silver Logie for Most Popular New Female Talent. She has been nominated for the Silver Logie for Most Popular TV Presenter three times as well as a Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality. She was also nominated for Best Newcomer at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards and won Best On-Air team in 2005.
In 2015, Chrissie became co-host of Network Ten's new family entertainment show, The Great Australian Spelling Bee, alongside Grant Denyer.
