Prior to becoming an independent management consultant in 1995, Joshua Owen held senior executive positions in industry (construction), commerce (chartered accounting with Price Waterhouse & Co), government (Singapore City Treasury) and academia (universities in Sydney, Hobart, Canberra, Adelaide, Seattle and Los Angeles).

Joshua Owen has a Master's degree in Business Management (MBA) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics (B.Ec) from the University of Adelaide.  He is a Chartered Accountant (CA), a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants (FCPA) a Chartered Secretary (FCIS), a Chartered Member of the Australian Human Resource Institute (CMAHRI), a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) and of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM).  He is also a member of the Institute of Management Consultants (MIMC) and an Accredited Professional Speaking Member (APS) of the National Speakers Association of Australia.

Delivering inspirational keynote presentations, Joshua has conducted seminars and in-house workshops in Strategic Planning, Leadership, Corporate Ethics and Team Development in Australia, UK, Europe, and throughout Asia and the Pacific.
