Star Studded, Show Stopping, Entertainment

The Leading Men is Australia’s premier collection of sensational male performers from stage and screen who have starred in shows from Beauty and the Beast to The Phantom of the Opera, from Bernstein to Lloyd Webber, Jimmy Barnes to Midnight Oil.

This stellar line up delivers corporate entertainment like no other. Every song is a showstopper, most have been reworked to provide a sophisticated, powerful and often hilarious experience. Songs are broken up by recounts of personal comic anecdotes that give a rare insight into the magical world of musical theatre.

The Leading Men include:

David Dixon, former lead singer of the super successful band "Indecent Obsession," host of TV shows and a star of "Home & Away.” David rocked in "Smoky Joe's Café" and broke hearts as Marius in "Les Misérables" as thrilled in the title role of "Joseph & His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat".

Dobbo - or Rodney Dobson - has made a career out of performing in the biggest musicals ever to reach our shores, including Les Miserables, Miss Saigon and Sunset Boulevard. He gave the crowds what they liked as 'the Big Bopper' in Buddy the Musical and stripped completely naked in The Full Monty as the fat guy Dave.

Scott Irwin has chiseled movie star good looks and a sensationally powerful voice. He was nominated for "Cleo's Most Eligible Bachelor of the Year" two years running, and boasts theatre credits including Grease, Rocky Horror, Les Misérables, Kiss Me Kate and Carousel.

Darryl Lovegrove has starred in shows including The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, les Miseables, Chess and as John Lennon in Looking through a Glass Onion. He starred opposite Glenn Shorrocj and Doug Parkingson in the Australian and NZ tour of the Lennon - McCartney concert Let It Be and performed the role of Jesus in the Australasian tour of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Derek Metzger is one of Australia’s finest song and dance men who has starred in shows including 42nd Street, The Wizard of Oz and The Pirates of Penzance. He won a prestigious "Green Room" Award for his classic portrayal of the larrikin Bill Snibson in Me & My Girl and in 2008, starred in Spamalot.

Ian Stenlake is one of Australia's hottest stars of stage and screen. He starred as Comm. Officer Mike Flynn in Channel Nine’s Sea Patrol and as Sky Masterton in Guys and Dolls. In Eureka the Musical Ian fought for a fair go, and he shone in the lead role of Curly, in Oklahoma!

The special ingredients that each of the men brought to the performance was exceptional. A combination of dynamic voices and sophisticated humour added something special to making this inaugural event a fabulous success. Their energetic presentation of the show delighted everybody on our guest list. National Breast Cancer Foundation.

It was a wonderful performance, the four Leading Men were classy, polished and very professional. A fantastic way to start the evening, which was a huge success. The four performers were “Leading” men in every sense of the word. Their performance was spectacular. Raine & Horne.

It was just fantastic. You guys were amazing. The voices were so powerful and I didn’t expect the show to be so funny. Steve Waugh

These guys are worth every cent, performing over a lagoon stage when it started to rain the leading men just took it all in their stride and delivered one of the best performances our delegates have ever seen!
