The Baileys, Entertaining Youth Band
The Baileys are the envy of the music industry and are grabbing peoples attention with their unique style. The Baileys range from right down to the roots of country and bluegrass to grunge and modern day music. From corporate gigs such as the NSW Farmers Federation gala dinner at the Wentworth hotel to the Bathurst Gold Crown Harness Racing Carnival, there’s nothing that the Baileys can’t handle.
About The Baileys ...
Charlene - takes centre stage with her unique vocal style that cannot really be compared and she also plays a mean rhythm guitar. Charlene has been a feature story on the Disney channel and has been featured in a follow up on her career at the Tamworth Country Music Festival 2003. At just 12 years of age she became Victorian Champion of Champions at the Mildura country music festival.
Crystal - Vocal/harmony, a pure voice that will stir you. Crystal’s blending harmonies and awesome mandolin playing are great assets to the band. She is also a great and keen songwriter.
Kurt - a spunky drummer with an understanding of rhythm way beyond his years (look out ladies) Kurt has backed several artists such as Bill Chambers and Catherine Britt. At the Gympie Muster 2002 he got the pleasure of backing Catherine on main stage, then soon followed the Chris Isaak national tour where he was asked to play for Chris Isaak’s support act Catherine Britt!
Lindsay Dallas - music is in Lindsay’s genes as he is the grandson of the legendary Rex Dallas and son of Tamworths very own Brett Dallas. Lingo plays bass guitar and is already a well-experienced session musician.
Daniel Conway (known as Conway) - Conway fashions his lead guitar playing on Keith Urban and Tommy Emmanuel. His passion and love for music is shown on stage as he is a very confident performer. He has won many talent quests such as Junior Qld Champion of Champions and played main stage at the Gympie Muster 2001 and 2002.
Charlene, Crystal, Kurt and Daniel were graduates of the Tamworth Camerata 2002. The young band are also graduates from the prestigious TDP (talent development program) and has also appeared on the Schools Spectacular as a featured performance, screened on ABC television. Tamworth Country Music Festival is the most exciting time for The Baileys as they get to show the out of towners what the locals can really do!
The Baileys now command there own gigs at leading venues such as, The Pub, Southgate Inn and the prestigious Fanfest concerts 2003 and were invited to perform at the 20th anniversary of the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
